Hello world and welcome to my slice of the intertubes.  This is supposed to be the area of most blogs where I tell you about myself and I will do that, but this site is more about me than you.  First, my name here is AldousX. 

You see, I have made several blogs and miscellaneous websites in hopes of one making me boatloads of money.  It has not happened yet and for the time being… I give up.  I have given up on working my ass off attempting to escape the 9 to 5 (or 7 to 7 as many of now do these days) many of us are in.  What now?  Well, part of it is this blog.  I am going to post shit here that I want to talk to the world about or show you. This is going to be the place to write down things that I need to work out.

I work in the technology field, so don’t be surprised if I talk about tech type items.

I will be talking about my interests.  First and foremost, I love my family which includes a wife, dog, 3 cats and a bunch of extended family. I like to read science fiction and comic books.  I like to pick stocks.  I like watching television and movies.  I like microbrews.  I am going to start drawing, so you might see some of my crappy art.  I dislike working out in general, but I do it and it sometimes brings me joy.  I hate politics, but I find that I can’t not pay attention to them.  I work in the technology field in a customer service capacity, so don’t be surprised if I discuss either field. 

So, if anybody finds this website, I hope you enjoy it.  If you don’t, I probably won’t change anything anyways.
